Painting a New Picture

The annual popular wine festival known as Corkless in Galena returns on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from noon to 6 p.m.! The fesival will feature eight wineries from across Illinois, including those from the Galena area.

Janet and I took advantage of some January sun to do a bit of eagle watching. Lock & Dam 11 in Dubuque is about 25 minutes from Cloran Mansion and provides some terrific viewing of bald eagles this time of year along the Mississippi River.
