PROPERTY POLICY
House Policies/Rules
- Check-in at 4:00pm (PST); Check out by 10:00am; (Check in and checkout can be adjusted if it is not a same-day guest turnover.) 1 night minimum except on Fridays and Saturdays which must be a 2-night minimum.
- Reservations may be canceled up to thirty(30)days prior to occupancy with refund of prepaid rent. All cancellations made after 30 days prior to occupancy will receive a refund of their deposit only, (or 20% payment). If you are staying more than 28 days, you are responsible for utilities.
- Please be respectful of our home and property, as well as the quiet neighborhood. Refrain from excessive noise, ESPECIALLY after 9 pm, as sound really travels in this peaceful community.
- This is a non-smoking property. If there is evidence of smoking, you may be charged up to an additional $500 to clean and deodorize.
- This is a pet friendly property with an additional $100.00 fee per dog per stay (up to a month), but please pick up after your pet on the property and in the neighborhood. Pets must remain on the property or on a leash or under your control either with leash or by voice commands. Pets are your liability. We have pet towels and bowls, so please use these supplies; don’t use the house or beach towels or blankets. Pets are not allowed on furniture please. We supply a dog bed if needed. You must clean up after your pet. Please don’t use the blankets as beds for your pets, as there is a dog bed in the laundry room of the HideAway, the closet in the Ranch Guesthouse, and the garage utility area in the Chalet.
- At the HideAway, You will have access to the entire house, the backyard, the outdoor picnic tables, the fire pit; At the Ranch Guesthouse, you will have access to the porch and paver patio are, outdoor picnic table, access to the carport; At the ADU Chalet, you will have access to the upstairs apartment, its porches, the garage, the outdoor picnic area behind your ADU.
- Please take garbage out to the bins near the garage or carport, and separate the garbage from the
recycle (clean cardboard, plastic, etc. goes in the blue bin.) Put glass in the square blue bin.
- Do not remove household items, especially flat wear and glasses. There are usually paper plates,
plastic wear in the drawers in the laundry room or in the kitchen cabinet above the refrigerator. Except, if at The HideAway, you may use the soft-side picnic cooler, the 4 chairs, and the 6 outdoor towels for your own picnic; If at The Guesthouse you may use the 4 outdoor towels; if at the Chalet you may use the 2 outdoor towels. Please return them for future guests to use.
- Consider the environment when using the heater/air conditioner, and water/towel use.,
conserve energy: turn the HVAC to an appropriate temperature when you go out, (Winter HEAT to 65* and Summer AC to 80*.and turn off most lights. Keep a light on in the living room for when you return later if desired. At The HideAway, the porch light will automatically turn on at dusk (and turn off at dawn.) The Guesthouse has string lights that are automatic. The Chalet has outdoor lights that can be turned on for outdoor security at night.
- For your own security, when you go out, lock your doors to protect your things and the property.
- Clean carpet and floor spills as you make them. (Cleaning products are under the sinks in the kitchen and the laundry room.
- At the HideAway, there is an on/off button below the fireplace. Please do not place anything on top of the fireplace, as it gets hot on the surface. There is a second key to the front door hanging on a hook in the kitchen for your use. Please return both keys before you leave.
